Compiler/TMS320F280049: C2000 software and compiler/linker.

The above link is for Safety kits including compiler.

Normally, we and my customer uses CCS compiler which is 16.9.4.LTS.

Is this safety compiler different from normal compiler which is in C2000Ware/CCS ?

Does Customer need to download this safety compiler (KIT) if needed ?

The C28x compiler and Compiler Qualification Kit are distinct products.  The C28x compiler is typically acquired with CCS, or installed from within CCS.  This same compiler is used to build C2000Ware, and your application.  The compiler qualification kit is separate download.  The C28x compiler, on its own, is not qualified.  The compiler qualification kit enables you to establish that your use of the C28x compiler meets safety qualification standards.
