Hi,

My customer is trying to benchmark the rfft_32 in C2000ware. They got the N=1024 version working correctly.

The modified to N=2048 and observed that some bin buckets go to 4e+13.

The document on FPI DSP library does allude to the fact that the function only supports N=1024. The table 7.1 though shows benchmark with N=2048. What happens if N > 1024?

16384 RFFT works, provided there’s enough RAM; 32768 RFFT results in a bug (Inf values in sincosbuf) even if there’s enough RAM.

Twiddle factor tables support up to a 1024-pt RFFT. Beyond that (2048 and above), twiddle factor tables cannot be used (USE_TABLES macro has to be undefined). Twiddle factors will have to be computed using RFFT_f32_sincostable().
