I have been trying to use hex2000 for combining the projects of CPU1 and CPU2 into a single image, The intent is to create a file that is more friendly for a contract manufacturer to program parts in production. The format is not very critical, but the request is to have a single step for programming the device. Can you help me on the details? I am assuming this is a post compilation function in CCS, but I am not sure of the exact syntax.I have already examined section 12 of http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spru513s/spru513s.pdf but could not conclude with confidence the necessary steps for implementing this request.
Thank you!
Lenio,
CPU1 can not program CPU2 Flash bank and CPU2 can not program CPU1 Flash bank.
How will they program using one single image?
Thanks and regards,
Vamsi
Vamsi,
that is exactly my question. Is there a way to use a single file (not necessarily the same image) and program the device in a single step? This is for ease of manufacturing and distribution of the software.
Thanks!
