TMS320F2812: Can mailbox does not work in ECAN mode

Hi team,

My customer has a legacy project using F2812, and they noticed the CAN mailbox 14 does not work in ECAN mode sometimes and this only happens on 1 machine.

To verify this problem, they use a USB CAN to tranmit data to mailbox 14 continous. And reset MCU to reproduce this issue. In 1-2 out of 10 power up, the mailbox 14 cannot receive anything, but recovers after the reset. 

I've suggest them to check the error register, but nothing can be observed.

I am not very familiar with this older device. Any suggestion on what might be happening?
