TMS320F28374S: Compare (action qualifier) missing after sync in

Hi,

Just one doubt about PWM sync, with TBPHS value like 1000, there may be CMPA (like 800) missed, becuase TBCTR jumps over CMPA (800) to 1000 directly.

Beside some application SW solutions, do we have any other way to:

1) To know, if it's jumped;

2) To configure in PWM modules directly, to avoid the missing.

To know if it’s missed, you can always set up an interrupt start CTR=CMPA and see if it fired or not.

By avoid missing you mean have the action take place even though the CTR=1000 or have the CTR not jump passed 800?

Re: Yes.

There are several ways to know if missed from software judgement, like ISR.

We don't like to use ISR, to increase CPU load.

Other SW solutions, I cant think of anything.

UNLESS:

you use the CLB. This is a very specific customization you need.

Or you have CMPB available and you can set it to be equalt to 1000 with the same action as CMPA...
