TMS320F28388S: how many gate counts CPLD can be replaced by the CLB inside our C2000 device?

Hi,

recently I've been asked how many gate is our CLB equivalent to, but I've no idea how to answer it.

If it's not easy to answer, could you please tell a GPN of CPLD that could be replaced by CLB inside?

    Hi,

    There is no direct equivalence from CLB to CPLD gates. It really depends on the type of logic you are implementing with CLB.
    Also, CLB is best utilized when it augments the on chip peripherals and CPU along with CLB logic.
    I will not be able to provide gate equivalent or GPN. It's best if you analyze the capability w.r.t. the logic being implemented.
