Hi All
When connect f28377d GPIO41 pin with 3.3V, then click debug button in CCS will report "low power mode" error information.
Another side, if GPIO41 connect to GND then start debugging is well without any problem.
I check GPIO41 pin share with Hibernate mode wake up function, however the firmware never set device to Hibernate mode. Do you think any reason the GPIO41 will affect the debug procedure?
When you say pull high/connect to ground, you mean externally? with a resistor?
Terry,
It look like device is going into low power mode. Along with hibernate, driving GPIO41 LOW will also bring-up the device from other low power mode. Do you have any application loaded into flash?

Vivek Singh
Yes, I have application firmware in the flash, however the firmware never set the device into any low power mode.
I think the device should be always in normal run mode, so I cannot understand why start debug will report "low power mode" error while connect GPIO41 pin with 3.3v external.
Terry,
Are you seeing this issue on multiple boards ? Also issue is specific to GPIO41 or other GPIO as well ?
Also can you confirm that in your application, GPIO41 is configured as output which could cause contention on board if driven from outside.

Vivek Singh
Hi Vivek, Nima
Customer is on annual leave because china long holiday, I will double confirm with customer after resume working by B/Feb
Hi Nima
Thanks your attention. Customer has not back to work yet and so far do not have clearly schedule, because china is on serious virus situation.
I think we can close this topic if TMS320F28377 do not have this issue in your side, it maybe customer own hardware or firmware problem, I will help customer to investigate it after china situation resume well.
