Customer installed CCS8.3.1. But compiler can't be imported. The error is like:

What could be the issue?

    CCS 8.3.1 will already have a version of the C2000 compiler tools included with it. Is the customer trying to install a specific version different from the default one?

    I see a message at the top of their screenshot that says "No compilers are currently installed for ....", that seems to indicate that there are no compiler tools installed that support the device family they are working with. Which compiler versions are listed as discovered by CCS?

    If they still have issues after this, please provide a bit more detail about which versions are already installed/discovered by CCS (if any), and what they are trying to install when they see the error.

    Hi,

    After CCS V8.3.1 installation, there's no compiler was installed at the same time. One small project was built, but no compiler option in the project properity. 

    Customer would like to import other compiler, V6.4.6, but failed too.

    It sounds like the CCS installation is either incomplete or corrupted. Could you please ask them to delete the current CCS installation directory completely and then try a reinstall.

    After the reinstallation, if the compilers are still missing, please have them zip up the /install_logs folder inside the CCS install directory and attach the zip file here.
