LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Pin Multiplexing

Hi,

I purchased a LAUNCHXL-F28379D which has TMS320F28379D inside. I'm trying to configure pins of MCU for PWMs,ADCs,SCI,CAN,GPIO etc.

I checked the datasheet of TMS320F2837xD Dual-Core Delfino™ Microcontrollers at page 41 for pin multiplexing.

1.) I couldn't see the ADCIN14 and some ADC ports at the "Table 4-3. GPIO Muxed Pins". How can i find it in order to send some registers to my code.

2.) Actually, I couldn't understand which pins are disabled when I chosed some configurations. As an example, i'm worndering that if I configure in order to use EPWM1A, EPWM1B, EPWM2A, EPWM2B,

can I still use GPIO0 and SCITXDB,SCIRXDB,CANRXB,CANTXB?

3.) If I configure according to use EPWM1A, EPWM1B, EPWM2A, EPWM2B, is the only available SCI ports are SCITXDA,SCIRXDA for this register?

please use the pinmux tool and it will take care of the registers you need to set for you!

As far as the overall idea,

Pick a GPIO, lets say GPIO0, now you can only pick one functionality for that pin, lets say EPWM1A. Now that pin will only output EPWM1A.

For ADCIN14 for example. That pin is already connected to the ADC module by default. Also for pinmux, look at the DATASHEET.

Look at page 959 of the technical reference manual

You need to set the mux and gmux to the value specified in this table.

I generally understood it.

(For ADCIN14 for example. That pin is already connected to the ADC module by default.) Could you please show where it is written?

The pin name is ADCIN14. If you would like to see where else it is connected, you can look at the "Signal Descriptions". Examples are available in C2000WARE as well.
