TMS320F28388D: security implementation and secure key storage

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Hi,

does the F28388D device have an area for secure key storage and can the Secure ROM be used to store that key?

If so, can these keys directly feed the encryption engine?

More information about the security implementation is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

  • Hi,

to add to the topic, the use-case here would be for using secure key-storage and encryption/decryption accelerators for symmetric AES encryption for secure communications.

  • Hi Gunter,

Most security settings are programmed in USER OTP. Secure ROM can be used to program any user settings. It's pre-programmed with TI code only. User can always use secure flash sectors to store any info related to encryption/decryption.
