Hello, guys!

I need your help one more time...

Is there a way to use SCI interface to load program into FLASH? Or JTAG is the only way?

I need a way to use a serial interface (something like RS232) to burn the .hex file into FLASH in my production line, so I can use an already existing structure.

Is it possible? Is JTAG the only way to burn .hex into FLASH? What do you suggest?

I've already tryied to use the C2Prog tool, but I'm not sure wich pins of the TMS320F28377S I should use to communicate with C2Prog.

I've tryied to use SCI-A (GPIO42/43), but nothing works till now.

Can you help-me?

Vamsi,

Could you at least tell me which pins I should use when booting from SCI? It's still a bit confuse for me...

Tarcisio Silva,

GPIO72 and 84 are the boot mode pins and they should be 0/1 for SCI boot enable.

Table 3-23. SCI Boot Options in TRM (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruhx5e/spruhx5e.pdf) shows two possible GPIO assignments for SCI boot via SCIA:

1. GPIO84 and GPIO85

2. GPIO29 and GPIO28

Hence, definitely it is not 42/43. I would try 29/28.
