In general terms, is the Insta SPIN BLDC Sensorless FOC algorithm  more efficient when directly compare to a sensed FOC?  

This is Considering Identical Hardware (3 phase inverters) ect...

    Case by case. In most cases, the sensored solution should have better performance than sensorless, especially, the sensor has a good resolution. The sensorless solution has a lower cost, easy to use than sensored solution.
