Hello,

we are looking forward to begin developing a Motor Drive application based on the F28388D processor and we would like to do the programming via Simulink (Embedded Coder). At this moment there is only a reduced support of the processor in the Embedded Coder Support Package, so the question is: is it planned in the near future to provide blocks for the CPUx - CM IPC interface and Ethernet communication? Do you have maybe a roadmap about what will be included in future releases?

    Hi Roberto,

    We do not publish development roadmaps at MathWorks.

    However, I can tell you we are actively working on filling in the gaps for our support for F2838xD. Substantial features are scheduled for the next 2 releases: R2020a in the Spring, and R2020b in the Fall. IPC interface & Ethernet support are both on our list.

    If you can work with F28379D for now, the support for F2838xD will be much more complete after R2020b.
