TMS320F280049C: ePWM trip methods

Part Number: TMS320F280049C

Hello,

A quick query that, is one CMPSS able to trip all the ePWMs?

Say, CMPSS1 is able to trip ePWM1...ePWM8.

If yes, how should I configure it? I'd read some documents about output x-bar, but still not sure how does it happen.

I think you want to use the EPWM XBAR

You need to use EPWM XBAR.

Select the signal from the EPWM XBAR sources you want to enable, CMPSS[1-7]CTRIP[H-L].
The select which TRIPINx you want to use.
Use the EPWM DC (digital compare module) to use TRIPINx.
Configure EPWM TZ (Trip zone) to use EPWM DC.
Trip the ePWM module you wish to trip.

Repeat steps 3-5 for other ePWMs.
