Hi there,

I tried looking in /c/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_2_01_00_00/driverlib/ for the sci flash kernel of TMS320F28234 but couldn't find a folder for it. Can you tell me if there is one available and how I can download it?

Hi Mike,

C2000Ware does not have an example for SCI Flash kernel for F2823x devices.

You can refer the examples for other device variants like F2837xS located at

C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_01_00_00\device_support\f2837xs\examples\cpu1\F2837xS_sci_flash_kernel\cpu01.

Hi there,

Actually, I'm trying to find the kernel.txt file (similar to f28335_flash_kernel) that can be used by serial_flash_programmer.exe corresponding to TMS320F28234. If it doesn't exist in C2000 is that kernel file something I can construct myself (maybe by modifying f28335_flash_kernel)? How would that work?

Hi Mike,

The kernel.txt is generated from the binary file using the command

C:/ti/ccs920/ccs/tools/compiler/c2000_6.2.5/bin/hex2000" "f28335_flash_kernel.out" -boot -sci8 -a -o "f28335_flash_kernel.txt

This command is added as a post build step to the CCS project.

You can generate a txt file similarly for your CCS project.
