LAUNCHXL-F28379D: New Launchpad doesn't work

Hi, I'm student in Indonesia working on my final project in university.

Recently, my launchpad f28379D broke and i had to buy a new one.

But, the new unit doesn't give the same output like the last one.

I am using space vector generator in Matlab 2018b simulink to generate duty ratio used in ePWM.

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Andy,

Please provide more details on what is the difference in the output you get while using the new launchpad.

Thank you for the reply. It used to give sinusoidal wave output at PWM pin, but now it outputs like square wave with jagged top and bottom.

Andy,

The ePWM module is supposed to output a square wave (assuming the signal is not filtered externally). Maybe you're using a different oscilloscope that has a lower sampling speed making it look sinusoidal?

Hi Andy,

There are some GPIOs an RC filter on it. Maybe you were using one of those initially when you saw the sine wave?

I'm sorry if i look like some complete newbie because i am. If i want to measure the PWM that the launchpad given using oscilloscope, which pins should i attach my probe to ? I am using ePWM1, ePWM2, and ePWM3 modules.

It turns out that the setting of the ePWM Module is all wrong.
