CCS/TMS320F2812: CCS/TMS320F2812

Part Number: TMS320F2812

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I am new to embedded systems and have a problem running Code Composer Studio v5.5.

I have a chip which I need to read the flash via a JTAG connection. Connection via an XDS510  USB plus and this is causing some problems. I can initiate a test connection and all looks fine (I suspect it's a boundary scan), however when I try to read the flash there is no active option in CCS to read the memory. The little green arrow in the memory browser is greyed out and I have not been given the option to read the flash memory contents.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not quite sure which button you are referring to. Can you provide a screenshot of the Memory Browser?

    Thanks
