hello. the graphical user interface does not appear  when double clicking on the XGCONFG this is not the case when Sample Projects are imported.

Sample Project:

Added .XFG

sample projects  have a sys/bios appended

Projects with .cfg added,  (add cfg : New->XXX->RTSC XXXX.cfg)

Is a  demo sys/bios  blink project available ?

    For attaching images there is a button on the toolbar just above the text box.  It allows you to point to an image file that will then be uploaded and inserted into the thread. 

    By default CCS uses a text editor for .cfg files.  You can still use the graphical editor by right clicking on the file in Project Explorer and selecting to use XGCONF.

    After you do that once it will use it as the new default editor.
