TMS320F28377D: AMC1303 connected with both SDFM of F28377D and F280049

What is the rationale behind connecting the same AMC1303 (CLK / DATA) signals connected to both F28377D and F280049? Are you folks trying to analyze the SDFM performance on both F280049 and F28377D?

AMC1303Mx device support Mode 0, so need to configure both F28377D and F280049 as mode0 in SDFM register.

AMC1304Mx Hardware configuration:-

• No additional hardware configuration required.
  • SDCLK is provided by AMC1303M
  • Natively supports only mode 0

Key careabouts of F28377D software configuration:-

• Make sure to configure SDFM in mode 0
• Make sure both SDCLK / SDDATA pins are GPIO input qualified (3-sample). Please refer device DS for more details
  • Reason: Using GPIO qualified SDCLK / SDDATA signals provide better noise immunity
• Other configuration of SDFM depends upon your system requirements

Key careabouts of F280049 software configuration:

• Make sure to configure SDFM in mode 0
• Make sure both SDCLK / SDDATA pins are GPIO is synchronized with respect to SYSCLK. Please refer device DS for more details
  • Reason: Synchronizing SDCLK / SDDATA signals with respect to SYSCLK provides better noise immunity
• Other configuration of SDFM depends upon your system requirements
