TMS320F28388D: File conversion

Hi, I have an application utilizing the TMS320F28388D control card as a starting point. My customer wants the final design in Protel 99 format and I would like to start the design using the 'core' of the control card. Is there any way I can get someone to export the Altium design files (schematic and PCB) to Protel 99 format?

Bob,

I think that Protel and Altium tools come from the same company. I would suggest to contact the Altium vendor for a tool that would translate between the new and old version of their tool.

Peter,

That is true Protel and Altium are from the same company. They want to sell me their $10,000 software. Ultimately I will end up using Altium but I need to get a 'proof of concept' working first with the 'control card' (with some changes) as the core.

Hi Bob,

Unfortunately we do not have a method to translate to Protel. I think that Altium should be the source for a translator. Maybe you can get it separately from purchasing the entire Altium tool suite.
