Hi expert,

Will the checksum of some LIN frame being stored in register?

I ask this question for my customer would like to processing checksum value in their SW.

    Hi Sheldon,

    No their is no special register which will log the Checksum value.

    Checksum Calculator is built in to the LIN hardware which on receiving the frame will calculate and compare the Checksum value received and flag interrupt & error on mismatch. In transmit mode with shift the Calculated Checksum value into the TDx register along with data.
