Hello Team TI,

Is there any mathematical relation between acquisition window in "AdcaRegs.ADCSOC0CTL.bit.ACQPS" and operating frequency of converter. For example, if I am working on 100 kHz converter with LAUCHXL-F28379D then, how would I select ADC acquisition window in my program? Moreover, please refer me pages in reference manual for this?

    Please refer to the chapter 11 of the technical reference manual of TMS320F28379D (particularly, section 11.5.3 "ADC Acquisition (Sample and Hold) Window") to for details on selecting the ADC acquisition Window.

    Hi Utsav,

    Determination of acquisition window depends a lot on the associated impedance of the ADC input circuit that might be contributed by source resistance/capacitance of the signal being sampled.  There is an example in section "Choosing and Acquisition Window Duration" of the ADC chapter in the Technical Reference Manual on how this is calculated.
