Hi,

I am using TMS320F28069 Development board, I have to sense the 16 clock cycles(frequency is around 2MHz) with external interrupt through GPIO. Is it possible to sense the 2MHz signal by using external interrupt. please suggest me ASAP.

Hi Manoj,

If you are trying to sense on a single edge, you can use external interrupt (XINT). If you are trying to trigger from multiple cycles, you will need to use the ECAP. We have examples for both of these modules in C2000Ware for you to try out.

Hi Frank,

i want to sense the 17 clock cycles that to i have to sense the rising edge. The 17 clock cycles i will get every 250 micro seconds. is their any frequency limitation for sensing through external interrupt. which is better solution for me to sensing rising edge eCAP or external interrupt. And clock frequency is 0.5MHz to 5.0MHz. please suggest me ASAP.

Manoj,

If your signal is 250us or 4KHz, it's slow enough that using external interrupt should work.

Hi Frank,

Every 250 micro-seconds i am getting 17 clock cycles having the frequency range is (0.5MHz to 5 MHz).
