CCS/TMS320F28069: Implementation SSI Communication.

hi Kevin,

In SSI communication master slave concept is their. i want to implement slave side code means that, Have to sense the Rising Edge through GPIO and shift the data through GPIO. I have doubt how much frequency, I can sense through GPIO Rising edge interrupt. please suggest me.

Are you planning on using the SPI module as I had mentioned? I don't understand your concern if so, the SPI module should handle the work of detecting edges.

For your slave configuration you should be able to use the SPICLK input from the master and the MISO pin for sending data.

Actually in my application have to send 17 bits data based one the clock rising edge(frequency 0.5MHz to 5 MHz.) in syncronization. How to transmit 17 bits of data? I have doubt using to sense the rising edge, otherwise can i use SPI module to transmit 17 bits of data. which one is better.

Do you need to send exactly 17 bits, or can you get away with sending more? If 18 bits works, you can send two sets of 9 bits, as discussed in the thread linked below.
