CCS/TMS320F28374D: hex2bin

Hi,

When I use the third party tool hextobin.exe to transform file from hex(generated by ccs) to bin file, I found a issue that there are some data missing.

The issue is explained below:

From the chart, you can see that from row 3th, only the first 16bytes are transformed correctly and the later 16bytes are lost.

left is bin file (showed in hex format) right is original hex file

can you recommend other tools to complete this function(for hex file by DSP CCS)?

Hi,

Are you converting TI compiler generated out file to hex file (using hex2000) and then converting from hex file to bin using hextobin.exe ?

Are you building out file in COFF format or EABI format? Also what are the parameters you are using to convert?

You should check the documentation of the third party utility which converts to bin format.

I have solved this issue. I use the ccs to generate the bin file. It can work well.
