Hello Champs,
How does F28069 VCU realize CRC8 polynomial == 0x1d? In F2806x TRM, VCU only supports CRC8 polynomial == 0x07.
Would you please kindly help? Thanks!
Best Regards,
Linda

Linda,
The VCU module only supports fixed CRC polynomials. For CRC8, the fixed polynomial is 0x07.
On newer devices, the VCU module is replaced with the VCRC module, which supports configurable CRC polynomials as well as CRC sizes. However, this will not be possible on the F28069.
For additional information, please refer to Section 4.5 of SPRUII0A, and Section 4 of SPRUHS1C.
Thanks,
