Hello,

I need to send EPWM signal from F28069 control card to AFE031 on TMDSPLCKIT-V3 to generate sinusoidal signal as Output.

Can I use PWM mode similar to example boostxl_afe031_f283004x_pwmmode.c for f28069 also?

If yes, then for f28069 can I use SPI peripheral or do I have to use McBSP peripheral for commuication with AFE031?

I am bit confused b'coz in DAC mode I know we have to use McBSP peripheral as SPI doesn't have direct connection to DMA. But in PWM mode since we doesn't require DMA involvement so can I use SPI peripheral.

Please clarify my doubt.

Yes, you should be able to use SPI module to interface with digital interface (SPI) in AFE031.

Dear Manoj,

Path of Source code I am referring : C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_03\device_support\f28004x\examples\boostxl_afe031_f28004x_pwmmode.

I need to change this for f28069 control card.

Hi Ankur,

As Manoj mentioned, yes you can use the F2806x's SPI to interface with the AFE031 for the PWM mode since the DMA hook-up isn't needed like the DAC project.

You can refer to the AFE03x datasheet and F28004x example software to help with interfacing with the AFE03x. Or the PLCKITV3 firmware once you have it.
