Dear team,
I would like to understand if F28004x programming requires the utilization of an external oscillator/crystal.
Thanks in advance for your guidance,
Kind regards,
Giuseppe
Giuseppe,
F28004x has a two on-chip oscillator clock system (10 MHz, feed into PLL). You do not need an external oscillator/crystal to program it.

David
In addition to David's comments. If you use INTOSC1/2 (Internal OSCILLATORS), they have +/-3% accuracy which needs to be accounted. For Flash programming you will need to add 1 extra Wait-state if you use internal oscillators.
We do recommend using external oscillator/crystal so that you can keep the wait-states the same between read and programming operation. But again it depends on system requirements and cost associated.
