TMS320F28379D: Driving GPIO-121 LOW on the Experimenter Kit

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

I am using a F28379D ControlCard on the Experimenter Kit. It is brand new out of the box and I am unable to drive GPIO-121 LOW. I am fairly sure my code is okay as it is a simple task and I am able to drive GPIO162 and 164 LOW with ease using the same code.

Now searching the datasheet in a bit more detail, I see that GPIO121 can b muxed as:

  • General-purpose input/output 121
  • EM2OE 3 O External memory interface 2 output enable
  • USB external regulator enable

I cannot seem to find any reference elsewhere in the datasheet to the USB regulator. Does this mean that pin is being used for something else on the Experimenter Kit and I cannot use it as GPIO?
