Part Number: TMS320F28388D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE
I am trying to run the enet_lwip example on the F28388D Control Card, and it is hanging in the CM in enet_lwip.c:Ethernet_init():
pInitCfg = Ethernet_initInterface(initInterfaceConfig);
I am trying to follow the advice provided in the previous answer, but this is my first experience with TMS320, C2000Ware and Code Composer Studio, and I seem to be missing something.
The previous thread advises:
> Run the C28x side code, connect the CM side and then load CM side (enet_lwip) and run.
So I loaded and ran ethernet_c28x_config on CPU1 (by stepping through it in the CCS debugger). Then I loaded and ran enet_lwip on CM, and it still hang in Ethernet_initInterface().
I am confused about how CCS manages he multiple cores and how to work with that. Is there a tutorial about this? Should I have a SINGLE project that knows about both cores (CPU1 and CM)? Or should I have two projects?
I tried to modify my procedure by selecting the ethernet_c28x_config project and then MENU: Run -> Load -> ethernet_c28x_config, which seems to run CPU1. Then I select the enet_lwip project and MENU: Run -> Load -> enet_lwip. Now I get this dialog:
Here is a screenshot of my projects:
Thanks in advance for any advice!
