TMDSEMU110-U: connection doubts in XDS110 Debug probe

You need to create a new target configuration file, with XDS110 debugger and then use that configuration to connect to target.

Are you using ControlCard or it is your custom board?

Santhosh,

        I am not using the control card , I am just using the single piece of TMS320F28027 controller and I dont know how to connect this controller with XDS110 emulator.

Please reply.

If you want to use the manual method to set up the target; I would refer to this article:

In your case you would pick the XDS110 as the debug probe and the F28027 as your target.  Then you can click "Test Configuration" to make sure the connection is valid.  You can then connect to the device, download your code, etc.

An alternative would be to download C2000Ware and import one of the F28027 examples and edit the target already setup for the examples as shown here https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide/ccs_debug-main.html#automatic-method 

Then you can launch the debug session and it should connect/download the code automatically.
