TMS320F28035: how to test RPC register?

Hi,

my customer is using F28035 for AFCI UL-1699B certification.

We offered test method for all core registers except for RPC register in our "IEC60730 Safety Library for TMS320F2803x user guide".

The customers can test all core registers according to the method in our user guide.

But how can they test RPC register?

Hi Howard,

Please review section 7.3 entitled: Functions and Calling conventions described in this document: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spru514r/spru514r.pdf The RPC register is used in program flow control and it stores the return address of the PC. Developing a generic test that would suit a general case is not straightforward and therefore not included with the standard set of registers. It is expected to be developed by customers for their specific application/test environment.
