It is a shame for me to say that I don't have any knowledge on hardware system of this DC/DC converter.

while reading the user manual I saw resonance operation of High voltage side in Buck mode.

why is the resonance operation system needed? Is it for only taking the certain frequency and filtering out unnecessary frequencies of no use for efficient operation of this converter in buck mode?

    The resonance converter utilizes the resonance between L and C. (Theoretically, the energy exchange between L and C is lossless.)

    The biggest advantage of resonant converters is reduced switching loss (ZVS or ZCS) and it will boost the overall system efficiency.
