Can you tell me when the Control Card and Adapter Cards will be available for shipment? We are in the middle of a new design and need the tool set.

Tricia,

Unfortunately we ran out of stock due to high demand, and our CM has had issues in delivering with everything that is going on. At this point it looks like we won't have additional controlCARDs or silicon samples until we start production end of May.

The general adapter board TMDSHSECDOCK should be back in stock shortly.

When do you expect to have stock again?

During the shortage, is it possible to use the F28379D instead of F28388D? Are they pin compatible? (of course excluding ethernet).

we are trying to expedite some of the build. best case is probably end of April, worst case end of May.

The two are pin-pin, but F28388D does have more feature/peripherals that you wouldn't get to use, including the Connectivity Manger Arm Core and Ethernet.

Thank you for the confimation Chris. We will desing for F28388D, using 28379D if not available.

On the other hand, would you mind to notify us when samples are available again?

F28388D samples will only be available at RTM, 5/29

It appears we may have some controlCARDs at 5/15. Worst case is also 5/29.

And would it be possible to get some samples for a small batch sooner? We could send to manufacture 5 to 10 boards only if TI could provide some stocked components.
