I know that the Distributed Clocking (DC) mode is not supported. So Which mode could customer use for ethercat?

Susan,

This issue was on Rev-0 silicon only. It has been fixed in Rev-A silicon. Due to ongoing issue sample availability for Rev-A may be limited though.

My customer is using TMDSCNCD28388D. what is the rev of 28388?

So Which mode could customer use for ethercat?

Susan,

If you look at the chip label on the controlcard and see $7A, then it is rev A.

They can use the EtherCAT "free run" and "SM Event" modes.

That is rev0, so they can use "free run" and "SM Event" modes but they can't use DC mode.
