TMDSHVMTRINSPIN is an inverter (220VAC or 400VDC) for -phase AC motor drive, and its maximum output power is about 1.5kW. The kit includes itself power module with the gate driver. I don't understand what do you want to drive the dc load with a high voltage gate driver and encoder. It seems like it can't meet your requirements.
I'm trying to gather the right equipment to do an experiment. I have a 3 phase 36 pole BLDC motor that I want to apply a pulsed high DC volt up to 800 vdc at a pulse frequency 0 to 50khz with very little current. I have my power supply and am seeking the adjustable chopper. I think I need a gate driver - or will the TMDSHVMTRINSPIN pass my generated signal to the motor?
No, the kit can't be used for such applications. You might search on the website to find the other high voltage board.
Thank you for your answer - I was pretty sure you would say that. I do believe I can use a high voltage gate driver to supply the required DC buss and the controller to fire it.
I was just hoping to save a little money.
