error when updating to controlsuite V1.9

I am using ControlSuite 1.7 today. I cannot seem to use teh update feature to go from 1.7 to 1.9. This is true if I use the update within controlsuite or use the start menu icon for update. It goes out searches and finds version 1.9, but when I try to install it give a file association error8664.2010 01 21 ControlSuite Error update to V1.9.doc

from the atttached doc you can see the error, but it says " this file does not have a program associated wwith it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel?"

I hit OK, and then controlsuite update says " some of the updates failed to install properly."

couple notes:

using windowsXP

proxy - tried with it auto and non-auto

tired with and without firewall

    Mr. Dragon,

    Thanks for bringing to attention.  We need to look into this.

    I suggest re-downloading the installer from www.ti.com/controlsuite

    and essentially starting from scratch.  There shouldn't be any issue.
