Hi,

I am going to use C2000 Microcontroller for the first time. My question is very basic. From where can I check the maximum output frequency capability of PWM generated by Microcontroller? Asking about all TI C2000 Microcontrollers but specifiically going to use TMS320F28027.

Ammad,

the GPIO buffer has a maximum toggling frequency of 15MHz, since the PWM uses the same buffer this will be your limit.

If you want to actually check the output, take one of the PWM examples and begin reducing TBPRD and the CMPx registers. Please note the signal will look a little worse with very fast toggling, the slew rate of the signal will be very apparent.
