Can you further explain what you're looking for? What do you mean by 'self-detecting flash flag bit' ?

Are you meaning the Flash entry point, or something else? The flash entry point is at 0x3F 7FF6 to 0x3F 7FF7, per the datasheet.

There's a return value if the code runs wrong,

If the code "runs wrong", the watchdog can reset the part, if enabled. An illegal opcode would trigger an ITRAP.

Your questions are not clear. Please explain exactly what you are looking for.
