current consumption of TMS320F28335 in the datasheet

Dear Champ,

The customer is checking the current consumption of F28335 in the datasheet. The customer find the different data in the datasheet.

Refer to the following table from the datasheet. The current of IDD + IDDA18 is 290mA + 30mA = 320mA. The current of IDDIO + IDD3VFL + IDDA33 is 30mA + 35mA + 1.5mA = 66.5mA

Refer to the following figure from the datasheet. The current of V18 is around 325mA and the current of V33 is around 295mA.

What there is big different for V33, one is 66.5mA and the other is 295mA? Which one is corrent?

Regards,

Jeffery

  • Jeffrey,

I think you're misreading the graph.   The green box line is IDD, which is the 1.8V core supply.  The graph shows about 290 to 295 mA (at 150 MHz), which matches the Table.  The total 3.3V current is given by the blue triangle line, and this shows about 65 mA, same as the table.

    Regards,

    David
