I have a question regarding the nesting of interrupts. I have already read the article in the processors wiki.

In the middle of the text there is a link to the “System, Control and Interrupts Guide” . Unfortunately the link does not work. It seems to be the document is deleted.

I have already read the wiki document and I think I have understand the process to initiate the interrupt nesting.
The only open issue is the procedure when a PIEIER register is modified outside the current IER group (see picture from the wiki document).
What has to be done in this case?
