CCS/TMS320F28388D: Motor control with EtherCat

Part Number: TMS320F28388D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDXIDDK379D, C2000WARE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi there,

I want to use the F28388 as a servo controller for one / two BLDC motors (Torquer). It shouldn't be a sensorless controller, since this Tourquer application has to maintain its position, sensorless is not sufficient in my opinion - OR?

The requrements are

+ EtherCat interface

+ one or two motor Axis

how the FOC is implemented, InstaSpin FOC is used?

is ther a better choice as the F28388F e.g. AMIC100 or ET1100 in combinations with 2804x

best regard

Thomas
