Compiler/TMS320F28335: ADC-PWM Synchronization via ADC Interrupt

Hi,

I'm using Embedded Coder software package support to run TMS320F28335. So, I'm uing the example "ADC-PWM Synchronization via ADC Interrupt". I've one question regarding the model:-

In the ADC-PWM subsystem, there is a gain of "5", what is the significance of this gain ?

Also, where can I find a more detailed explanation of this particular model.

P.S. I'm using MATLAB 2015a

Hi,

The ePWM timer period is 20480.

Considering the full scale ADC value from 0-4095, multiplying with 5 gives the appropriate modulation to PWM.

Example:

If ADC value is 2048, Multiply by 5, gives 2048 * 5 = 10240.

This is half of 20480.
