Hello everyone!

I purchased one of those launchpads :

There is no problem at all with typical bitfield or driverlib examples. There are developed for most of features like UART or I2C. But now I want to go further and I would like to develop apps with TI-RTOS. Only examples I have after installation SYS/BIOS (I installed that one: http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/bios/sysbios/6_82_00_16/index_FDS.html) are below:

My question is: where I can find examples for UART on TI-RTOS for TMS320F28027F?

We don't have a TIRTOS+UART example for the C2000 device unfortunately. My recommendation would be to import both a C2000Ware UART example and one of the SYS/BIOS examples with a simple task set up into CCS and then start copying files and paths and applicable snippets of code from the UART project to the SYS/BIOS project and see if you can get that working to start.

Thank you for your answer. I tried to include files like: #include "DSP28x_Project.h" but they're not visible from rtos project. How can I get access to microcontroller registers or driverlib in rtos project?

and I can't see c2000 devices. I assume that TI-RTOS API is not available for c2000 devices, right?

So I don't know how to get started with peripherals when I can't get access to microcontroller's registers.

I appreciate any help.

You can get access to the registers by adding the necessary files to the SYS/BIOS project and updating the include paths in the project settings to add the header file directories. It might be helpful to look at the F2807x Firmware Development Package User Guide in C2000Ware (/device_support/f2807x/docs/F2807x_FRM_EX_UG.pdf). Chapter 2 has step by step instructions on how to add header files and/or driverlib to a project.

You are correct--the TI-RTOS drivers are not supported on C2000 devices.
