TMS320F28388D: ERRORSTS pin default polarity

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Hello C2000 Team,

Some confusion on the documentation for the ERRORSTS pin.  According to the TRM, spruii0a, section 3.6.7, the ERRORSTS pin has a default polarity of active high:

This polarity is consistent with previous devices who did not have configurable polarity on this pin.

But, TRM Table 3-317 seems to indicate that the default polarity is active low, since the default setting for ERRORPOLSEL is 0, and the description says that this drives a 0 on the ERRORSTS pin if there is an error.

Can you confirm that Table 3-317 is in error?

Regards,

David

  • David,

On F2838x device ERRORSTS pin polarity is programmable and by default it is active low (Table 3-317 is correct) . We have already made update to TRM section which will be published by end of this month.

Here is the snapshot from latest TRM -

    Regards,
