Hi,

we observed that there is no clock on XCLKOUT when the boot mode is at SCI/Wait boot.

We use external crystal as clock source.

There is XCLKOUT when boot mode is boot to flash.

Is this normal? Why no clock when boot mode is SCI/Wait boot?

are you using customized boot mode or default boot modes ?

Also the default for xclkout id PLLSYSCLK and not crystal clock. You need to configure the register CLKSRCCTL3 appropriately.

What is the value of CLKSRCCTL3 register that you are seeing now ?

I'm using default boot mode in blank device.
