TMS320F280049: can the EPWMxSYNCO event be used to sync the EPWM module itself?

I would like to check whether the EPWMxSYNCO signal can be used as a sync event for the EPWMx module itself. Could you please help check it? Thank you.

What do you mean by sync itself? You can generate SYNCO on CTR=x and then use it as the PHSEN sync event, yes.

For example, CTR = CMPB is chose as the EPWM1SYNCO event, can it also work as the EPWM1SYNCI for itselt? From the block diagram, it seems not possible.

You would have to take it out to a GPIO then bring it back in.
