TMS320LF2401A: Flash programming issue

Hi,

Customer is using our LF2401 tool to program the device: http://www.ti.com/tool/SPRC073?keyMatch=TMS320LF2401A&tisearch=Search-EN-everything

Now they find that, there are 17 pcs LF2401 can't work after 3 months programing.

In details:

1) There are over 1K pcs are programmed, 3 months ago. Currently 17 pcs can't work.

2) 3 months ago, after programming, they did test for each device, and made sure that they worked well.

3) If re-program the device again, it can work well.

Do you have any comment, please?

I'm thinking to read the Flash. JTAG is not availabe for the device. Is there any way to read?

Any other comment?

Jordan,

If you are able to invoke the SCI bootloader, you could load a code that reads the flash and transmits that data through the SCI.

Hareesh,

Nothing is changed, as LF2401 is a very old part. Customer has no new development or improvement on it, but just manufactor according to end customer's order.

Please confirm if customer is able to download the flash contents via a 3P tool.
