Hi,

I am generating mulriple PWM frequency and duty cycle signals from one pin by varying jumper from other pins considering as GPIO. In that case i have to use 3 or 4 jumpers for the proper 16 different combinations. I have heard that by using ADC/MUX pins we can provide only one jumper to change different states of PWM... How this could be achieved?

Ahsan,

One "jumper"? No, I do not think that is possible. You can however develop some hardware to indicate 16 unique input states on a single pin using an ADC input.

Ahsan,

I was not referring to a multiplexer. A multiplexer takes lots of information and compresses it down into a single line. This will not help you with gathering inputs into your device, however it could be a good way to bring one of many outputs to a single pin.

Are you familiar with how an ADC works? Please take some time to understand what an ADC is doing electrically. With that knowledge it should be apparent what you would need to do to enable multiple input conditions on a single ADC pin. I don't know if this is the most elegant solution for you system, but as the system designer you will need to decide what is best for your system.
