flash is locked on new 2808

Hello TI.

We have purchased 10 controllers :

TMS 980

320F2808PZA

CC-86A108W

Five of them are working fine, but the others have locked flash. They are "brand new", we just connect to them and see this issue in flash programmer.

Have you ever seen such problem in the past? Or we have to complain to our local vendor and replace them?

Can it be caused by wrong soldering? On the first glance, all our boards are same, without any mistakes.

I have the same problem with the chip marked

TMS 980

320F2808PZA

CC - 82AOR9W

The flash is locked and after power is on the device is overclocked (the CLK source is 40MHz generaror) which involves hight current consumption. The current consumption becomes normal after connecting to CCS and reseting.

Is there any way to check if the part is not forged before assembling?
